Steve’s clients and publishers include Dorling Kindersley (more than 30 titles including various Eyewitness series), BBC, Smithsonian, Open University, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Science Museum, WWF, Oxford University Press, Heinemann, Reader’s Digest, Gareth Stevens, Rodale, Grolier and A&C Black.

Nominations for awards include the Times Educational Supplement Information Book of the Year (twice) and Rhône-Poulenc Junior Science Book of the Year.

As author, advisor or consultant, Steve has worked on some 40 multi-contributor tomes and series, including the massive encyclopaedia Animal (DK), the Cambridge International Dictionary of English (CUP), Horrible Science partwork (Eaglemoss) and numerous animal, nature, science and technology projects.

Work is undertaken in a variety of applications including MS Word, QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign.
