Edinburgh to Southampton, Redruth to Norwich, I enjoy about 20 to 30 visits each year. To schools, libraries, science centres, museums, exhibition centres, bookshops and more. Usually as part of a book week, science project, literacy programme or library celebration.
There’s no set routine. Each event is tailored to the individual visit. But a full day is assured, as many sessions as we can fit in. We can choose science and nature topics from your current list or go for something different.
Events can include planning, research and fact-finding, writing, editing, design and illustration – but not always in that order. Also incorporating teamwork, negotiation and co-operative learning, with emphasis placed as you wish. There's always plenty of interaction and fun, with group projects to emphasize – perhaps unexpectedly – the team nature of my work.
Costs are almost certainly much lower than you think. Call 01379 678990 to discuss.
